The pharmacy services at Blanchard Valley Hospital and Bluffton Hospital are equipped with state-of-the-art technology that include a robotic dispensing system, bar coded medication administration system, and computerized Total Parenteral Nutrion (TPN) admixing.
Remote pharmacy order entry using wireless laptops allow increased pharmacist availability to our patients.
The clinical staff participates in patient care planning, discharge planning and education and medication reconciliation. A medication safety team continually investigates and promotes the proper use of medications. Other features of our pharmacy include:
