The HeartCare Center at Blanchard Valley Hospital (BVH) performed their 1,000th percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) procedure Friday, June 11. Learn more....

Physicians and associates at Blanchard Valley's HeartCare Center perform procedures that can only be called “miraculous!" When a heart attack occurs, time is precious. Early diagnosis and treatment can save minutes and even hours, minimizing damage to heart muscle. It’s enough to make you believe in miracles!

Quality Standards at our HeartCare Center are compared to The American College Of Cardiology (ACC)

An important survival factor for heart attack patients is how quickly treatment is provided to open a blocked artery in the heart. The amount of time it takes a patient from entering our Emergency Department to receiving treatment in the Cardiac Cath Lab with a balloon angioplasty or stent is crucial.

At the Blanchard Valley HeartCare Center, we consistently beat the 90 minute national benchmark time established by the ACC. In fact, in 2009 our average “door to balloon” time was 46 minutes.

When seconds count, you can count on us! We're here for you.
