Total Knee Replacement:
Other hospitals charges are between 17% and 75% HIGHER than Blanchard Valley’s charges.
That means if you use one of the larger Ohio hospitals instead of BVH, you would be charged an additional 17% to 75%, depending on the hospital.
While your insurance company usually has a contract for a discount from each hospital, it would take a significant discount from these hospitals to match what BVH charges before the discount.
Total Hip Replacement:
Other hospitals charges are between 29% and 97% HIGHER than BVH charges.
Partial Hip Replacement:
Other hospitals charges are between 72% and 143% HIGHER than BVH charges.
