Heartsavers Pediatric First Aid CPR AED Instructor Led
Course Description: Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED is intended for those involved in childcare who have a duty to respond to illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. Medical emergencies such as insect and animal bites, poisoning, heat and cold-related emergencies, water safety, and universal precautions and exposure to blood.
Course Designed for: This audience includes childcare workers, teachers, foster care workers, camp counselors, youth organizations, and coaches for children’s sports organizations. This course is also ideal for parents, grandparents, extended family, babysitters, and guardians.
Course Length: Classroom instruction approximately 3.5 to 4 hours.
Course Notes: This course provides the student with a Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED card valid for two years. Each participant will receive a student workbook and pocket mask.
Online Notes: This course is instructor led with no online portion.
