Robert T. Seese, MD Joins Blanchard Valley Health System as a Pediatrician

Blanchard Valley Health System (BVHS) is pleased to welcome Robert T. Seese, MD, a pediatrician, to its team of dedicated healthcare professionals.

Dr. Seese is certified by the American Association of Pediatrics. He earned his medical degree from the Northeastern Ohio Medical University in Rootstown, Ohio. His training includes a pediatric residency at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus and a pediatric infectious disease fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland.

"I am elated to join this experienced team, where the health and well-being of children in our close-knit community are the top priority,” said Dr. Seese. “It’s an honor to work alongside such dedicated professionals who share my passion for providing personalized, high-quality pediatric care."

Dr. Seese has received numerous accolades and held several leadership roles throughout his career. In 2003, he was honored with the Chamberpot Award for Interns at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. His contributions to medical literature include publications such as Human Metapneumovirus: A Previously Unrecognized Respiratory Pathogen, published by the American Society of Clinical Pathology, and a chapter on Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever in the AAP’s Pediatric Primary Care textbook.

Dr. Seese has also demonstrated strong leadership in medical education. He served as the lead clinician for the clinical and physical exam skills class at The Ohio State University and played a key role in medical student remediation.

Dr. Seese will be caring for pediatric patients primarily at Carey Medical Center and Caughman Health Center. Appointments can be made at either location by calling 419.427.0809. New patients are being welcomed.
