Blanchard Valley Health System (BVHS) is pleased to announce that Gregory Everett, MD,
has joined the team at the Psychiatric Center of Northwest Ohio.
Dr. Everett is a valuable addition to BVHS. He has recently completed a residency in general adult psychiatry at the University of Toledo, where he honed his ability to assist patients in managing symptoms of psychiatric disorders or conditions to improve their quality of life. Throughout his residency, Dr. Everett held the position of Chief Resident of Academics/Education, showcasing his dedication to leadership. Additionally, Dr. Everett won several awards and honors during his residency, including the William J. Lenz Jr. Memorial Award for Excellence in Psychiatry, the Outstanding Resident Service Award, and the Academic Excellence Award.

Along with his clinical expertise, Dr. Everett boasts a strong educational background, having obtained a Doctor of Medicine from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Additionally, he has conducted research and given presentations on several topics, including the neuropsychiatric and psychiatric features of untreated secondary hypothyroidism and selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) induced hyponatremia. These research endeavors earned him first and second place prizes in Research & Scholarly Activity at the University of Toledo Psychiatry Residency.
