Connect Your Health Record To Your Health Management Apps

Blanchard Valley Health System is dedicated to helping improve your overall health care experience by providing convenient, streamlined resources to help you better manage your health. We now offer the ability for you to securely connect some of the health management apps you may use such as fitness trackers, dietary trackers, patient portals, etc.) to your health record at BVHS.

Remember BVHS will continue to offer patients the ability to view their medical record online using the BVHS MyHealth Patient Portal. Learn more!

View your lab results, medications, send messages to your care team, schedule appointments with BVMP providers and much more!

To use this new feature, go to the "health records" section of the health app you are using and connect to your Blanchard Valley Health System health record. If you do not see Blanchard Valley Health System as a choice, please complete the form below to request that your favorite health app be connected to BVHS.

Once we receive your request, BVHS will work with the appropriate vendors to determine if they meet the technical requirements in order to establish a secure connection. We will email you typically within two business days.

BVHS Now Works with Apple Health!

You can now easily access your Blanchard Valley Health System MyHealth patient portal on the Apple Health app, available on any iPhone with iOS 11.3 or later. Enjoy the convenience of accessing your medical records and health information, including allergies, clinical visits, immunizations, lab results, procedures and more. The app will also send alerts when new health information becomes available.

Here’s how to get started:

1. The Apple Health app is pre-downloaded on your iPhone. First, you will need to set up a Health profile.

2. Select “Browse” located in the bottom right corner, then scroll down to “Health Records.”

3. Click on any of the listed options, for example, “Allergies” and then select “Get Started.”

4. Search for Blanchard Valley Health System and choose “Connect to Account.”

5. See all your health data on your iPhone.

For those with existing accounts:

1.    Open the Apple Health app.

2.    Select “Health Data” and then “Health Records.”

3.    Click on “Get Started,” or “Add Account” if you have used the app for other health care organizations.

Your MyHealth patient portal username and password will be required for login. You must have a BVHS MyHealth patient portal account to log in and view your health records. If you do not have a MyHealth account, self-enrollment is available. Persons who are 18 years or older that do not currently have access to the MyHealth patient portal may qualify for self-enrollment using their social security number. Visit bvhealthsystem.org/selfenrollment.

If self-enrollment is not an option, you can enroll the next time you are a patient at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Bluffton Hospital or one of our BVHS medical offices. Please confirm that the office has a correct email address on file and a MyHealth invitation will be sent for you to complete enrollment.
