Infectious Disease & Travel Medicine

This may include skin infections, heart valve infections, bone and joint infections, HIV, hepatitis C and others. Arrangements can be made for patients needing intravenous antibiotics which can be done in the home, at an outpatient infusion center or in a nursing home. In addition, our staff will provide travel consultations, immunizations and immigration physicals.

Travel Consultations

If you are planning on going to a developing nation our team is able to provide a specialty area of medicine called travel medicine or emporiatrics. This specialty area allows a customized recommendation to be made regarding a person’s medical problems, duration of stay and itinerary. Our team will also see patients without referrals who are going to developing nations and need immunizations, prescriptions and education to avoid diarrhea, hepatitis, yellow fever, typhoid fever and malaria.

Patients who need immunizations can bring in an order from their primary care physician for their necessary shots.

Immigration Physicals

Patients needing an immigration physical can call and schedule an appointment. Our team will provide all required immunizations, tuberculosis skin tests and necessary blood tests.
