Blanchard Valley Health System (BVHS) is pleased to announce that Logan Maag, MD, will
join the Blanchard Valley Orthopedics and Sports Medicine team at Wellness Park in Findlay, Ohio.
Dr. Maag is a physical medicine and rehabilitation physician who recently completed his residency at the Cleveland Clinic. This highly selective program at a world-renowned healthcare and education institution has offered him exceptional clinical and research experience and the skills necessary to deliver expert patient care. During his residency, Dr. Maag served as chief resident, giving him additional leadership and administrative skills that will help him excel in his role at BVHS. Additionally, Dr. Maag has completed a sports medicine fellowship with OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, where he gained specialized experience caring for athletes and active patients. Prior to his residency, he completed an internal medicine internship at OhioHealth Riverside Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, laying the foundation for his clinical expertise.

In addition to completing his prestigious residency program, Dr. Maag holds an outstanding educational background. He obtained his Bachelor of Science with Honors from the University of Cincinnati, where he studied biology and neuroscience, with a biomedical concentration. He then received a Doctor of Medicine from the Boonshoft School of Medicine at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. While in medical school, he participated in the Global Health Scholars and Wright Medical Rural Scholars programs, demonstrating his dedication to outreach, inclusivity, and providing excellent healthcare to those in rural Ohio.
“I am excited to have the opportunity to work towards increasing the accessibility of high-quality orthopedic and rehabilitation services within our region, ensuring that more individuals have the support and care they need,” said Dr. Maag. “As a Findlay native, I am proud to provide expert healthcare to the community I call home.”
Dr. Maag is a member of several well-known professional organizations, including the American Academy of Physical Medicine and the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine. Additionally, Dr. Maag has ample volunteer experience. He developed and piloted a volunteer program at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio, where volunteers work one-on-one with orthopedic surgery patients, providing physical therapy, promoting faster recovery times, and safer transitions to home life. This experience highlights his dedication to delivering outstanding patient care through personalized, hands-on approaches.
Dr. Maag is now accepting new patients at Blanchard Valley Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, where he joins a team dedicated to excellence.
