Blanchard Valley Health System (BVHS) is pleased to welcome Dennis W. Merski, DO, a
board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist, to its team of dedicated healthcare professionals at Blanchard Valley Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Dr. Merski is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He earned his medical degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania. His training includes an internship at Clarion Hospital in Clarion, Pennsylvania, and a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital in Wyandotte, Michigan.

"It’s an honor to contribute to an organization that is deeply committed to serving individuals and families in our region. I look forward to building relationships with my patients, providing compassionate care, and supporting the mission of delivering high-quality healthcare to our community."
Dr. Merski is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Osteopathic Association, the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Throughout his career, he has served in leadership roles such as chief of medical staff and department chair at various healthcare organizations.
Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Merski enjoys spending time with his family and outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, and kayaking.
