Blanchard Valley Health System (BVHS) is pleased to announce the addition of Logan Havemann, MD, to the team at Blanchard Valley Obstetrics & Gynecology located at 301 West Wallace Street in Findlay, Ohio. Dr. Havemann is a board-certified gynecological surgeon and obstetrician with experience providing patients evidence-based care, specializing in routine and complex obstetric and gynecological surgery.

Dr. Havemann has extensive clinical experience caring for a wide range of obstetric and gynecological conditions. She has honed her expertise in minimally invasive and robotic techniques, managing high-risk pregnancies, and performing both breech and operative vaginal deliveries. Additionally, Dr. Havemann is passionate about promoting reproductive health education and providing patient-centered care.

Before joining BVHS, Dr. Havemann worked at the Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center in Fort Cavazos, Texas. She served as an attending gynecologic surgeon and obstetrician, chief of the ambulatory OB/GYN service, and officer in charge of the obstetrics and gynecology department. Her military experience has prepared her to excel under pressure, adapt swiftly to changing situations, and deliver outstanding care in both routine and complex cases.

“I am drawn to BVHS for the chance to deliver comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, utilizing advanced endoscopic surgical techniques for the patients in my community,” said Dr. Havemann. “BVHS’s dedication to providing excellent patient care and community-centered nature aligns closely with my personal values. After a rewarding Army experience, I am eager to bring my medical expertise to a civilian role where I can continue to provide exceptional care in a collaborative and dynamic setting.”

Dr. Havemann is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology. Prior to her military service, she obtained a Doctor of Medicine from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, and a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry, Neuroscience, Pre-Medicine from Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio. Additionally, Dr. Havemann has published research on various topics, including vertebral artery dissection in relation to pregnancy, frozen-thawed embryo transfers, and a review of vulvodynia.

Dr. Havemann is now accepting new patients at Blanchard Valley Obstetrics & Gynecology, where she joins a team dedicated to excellence.
