Seek & Find at Blanchard Valley Health System

The Seek & Find is part of the “Adventure Cove” marine-themed mural, which is in a dayroom on the sixth floor.

Children can find 10 items: orca, seahorse, snake, clam, shipwreck, seaweed, coral, sea turtle, crab, and octopus. Click here to access the Seek & Find "Adventure Cove" checklist!

The mural is intended to give parents and children a chance to interact and strengthen their bond. Research has found bright colors and interactive play to be helpful and healing for children.

The mural is part of an ongoing effort to make the hospital more child-friendly. While a hospital stay is inevitably stressful for a child, BVHS is committed to reducing that stress as much as possible. This mural is intended to brighten their days and create a sense of hope and cheer.
