At the Daniel J. and Maria H. Sak Sleep Wellness Center, we know that regular, restful sleep is vital to maintaining your overall health. This is why we’re here for you to help diagnose and treat your sleep disorder.
We are committed to helping you get a better night's sleep through the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders. The American Academy of Sleep Medicine has identified more than 84 types of sleep disorders, including sleep apnea, insomnia, restless legs syndrome, and sleepwalking. Sleep disorders are responsible for accidents, absenteeism, and a poor quality of life for many individuals.

Everyone experiences occasional sleep problems, but getting a good night’s sleep is essential for feeling alert during the day. Your sleepless nights may be related to a sleep disorder if you can answer “yes” to any of the following questions:
- Does your spouse complain about your excessive snoring?
- Does your spouse notice episodes where you stop breathing?
- Do you wake up in the morning with a dry mouth?
- Do you fight sleep during the day?
- Does your insomnia last longer than an occasional night or two?
- Do you have high blood pressure, morning headaches or a weight increase?
- Do your legs jerk or twitch?
- Can you fall asleep easily when watching TV, reading or riding in the car?
