Endowments can change lives.

Endowment building is an approach to philanthropic giving where the principal of your gift is maintained in perpetuity and invested to create a source of income to sustain and expand high quality, affordable, accessible health care in our community for future generations.

The income from the principal of your gift may be designated for a specific service or program or it may be left undesignated, allowing those who lead and serve Blanchard Valley Health System to determine how to best use the funds to fulfill the BVHS mission. Endowments have the power to provide programs that wouldn’t exist without their funding.

Blanchard Valley Health Foundation understands the importance of endowment building, not only for the general support of Blanchard Valley Health System, but also for specific services and access to care programs such as Caughman Health Center and the Julien A. Faisant Adult Day Center. These programs support the health and wellness of area residents, many of whom struggle to take care of their basic day-to-day expenses, let alone their health needs.
