Advanced Cardiac Procedures at the Heminger Heart and Vascular Center

At the Heminger Heart and Vascular Center, our experienced cardiologists use advanced technology to provide immediate, lifesaving care for patients experiencing heart attacks. One of the most effective emergency treatments is cardiac catheterization, which helps restore blood flow by identifying and clearing blockages in the arteries leading to the heart.

Our center has state-of-the-art tools to support various interventional cardiac procedures. These include diagnostic cardiac catheterization to detect coronary artery disease and interventional techniques such as balloon angioplasty and stent placement. A stent is a small, wire mesh tube inserted into a narrowed or blocked artery to help keep it open and maintain healthy blood flow. For patients with certain heart rhythm disorders, we also offer pacemaker implantation to regulate and support proper heart function.

These procedures are performed by board-certified cardiologists specializing in minimally invasive techniques designed to enhance outcomes and reduce recovery times. At Blanchard Valley Health System, we are committed to providing expert, compassionate care focused on restoring heart health and improving quality of life.
