Vascular Testing

The Vascular Lab at Blanchard Valley Hospital uses ultrasound technology to generate images of blood flow in your veins and arteries. These tests are extremely helpful to the cardiovascular physicians at BVHS in diagnosing a variety of conditions related to vascular disease and disorders of the heart and blood vessels.

The ultrasound studies completed in the Vascular Lab are non-invasive and thus do not require the use of needles, dyes, radiation, or anesthesia. This makes these studies relatively painless.

We offer several vascular studies to assess your vascular health, including evaluations for deep vein thrombosis, arteries related to aneurysms, bypass grafts prior to surgery, and much more. 

The Blanchard Valley Hospital Vascular Lab is accredited by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories (ICAVL) and the American College of Radiology (ACR). These accreditations recognize BVH for its commitment to providing a high level of patient care and quality vascular testing.
