Telephone calls are answered from 8 am until 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Blanchard Valley Health System (BVHS), along with healthcare providers across the nation, are experiencing a shortage of rapid COVID-19 testing supplies directly related to the nationwide surge in COVID-19 cases. Other testing options are available - however, there will be at least a 24-hour turnaround time for testing results. If you have a primary care provider, please contact your provider for potential testing options through the offices. Please do not call BVHS facilities with questions regarding rapid testing availability, as this takes our healthcare providers away from the valuable care they are providing to other patients.

The scheduling for vaccine clinics is dictated by the number of vaccines we receive from the State of Ohio.

When To Call Your Local Health Department

Please call your local health department for the following reasons:

  • If you cannot locate your vaccine appointment card
  • If you cannot make it to your scheduled vaccine time
  • Those who need help registering for a COVID-19 vaccine

Specific information, such as what to bring and what to wear, will be provided when appointments are made.

We appreciate your patience. Your local health department will provide additional information. Please note, we kindly ask that you do not bring children who are not receiving the COVID-19 vaccine to the clinics. Blanchard Valley Health System discourages children to be left unattended in the lobbies and child care will not be provided.

Please do not call your local hospital directly to set-up appointments to receive your COVID-19 vaccine. Hospital switchboards are being overwhelmed with phone calls, which is creating an obstacle to patient care. Also, do not email questions pertaining to scheduling issues through the email below. This email is for general education and information, not individual vaccine scheduling.
