At The Armes Family Cancer Care Center, we have a survivorship mindset - for healing and wholeness beyond your medical treatment plan.
The Healing Arts Room, located off the main lobby, provides space to accommodate classes of varying sizes, including activities such as painting, yoga, and more. The interior of the Healing Arts Room is flooded with abundant natural light and includes an art glass window that reflects the concept of a healing environment.
The Virginia B. Gardner Healing Garden, located outside the building, has been constructed in full view of patients receiving infusion therapy and is accessible to patients, families, and visitors. Those at The Armes Family Cancer Care Center can take a stroll through the garden, relax on one of the benches, and enjoy the healing capabilities of nature. The garden also includes the John & Mary DeHaven Healing Tree – a sculpture honoring cancer survivors and warriors.
