Forensic Nursing (SANE)
The Blanchard Valley Health System offers the only comprehensive forensic nursing program in our eight-county service area. Our specially trained forensic nurses are on-call 24/7 to support all patients who have been victims of assault in our community. From testing in our secure spaces to testifying on behalf of victims, the forensic nurses are there to be an advocate for our patients going through the lowest points of their lives.
By supporting the forensic nursing program, you will care for these patients and help provide for our caregivers. From new equipment to education costs, your support will allow the forensic nursing program to recruit more qualified nurses and continue to provide exceptional care for those who are at their lowest. Their service is the point where healing can begin for our patients who need it most.
