Lung Cancer Resources
Hearing you have lung cancer is a scary and life-changing event, but Blanchard Valley Health System is here to help guide you through the process and help you make the best decisions for your personalized cancer care. Lung cancer is the second most common cancer diagnosis in both men and women in the United States (not counting skin cancers). Despite this very serious diagnosis, some people with early stage lung cancer are cured. Surgery, chemotherapy, immunotherapy and radiation therapy are some of the treatments used to fight lung cancer. Some people may require only one of these treatments, while others may need a combination of therapies.
